3 Have your trees and shrubs pruned
So often we’ll see mature shrubs that are getting a little leggy, maybe a few dead stems, and you might think that’s the end for that plant – time to pull and replant. When really, many times a good, strategic pruning to remove dead wood and stimulate new growth is all that’s needed to revitalize your landscape. Big impact on a budget. 2 Mulch your landscape beds (with weeds sprayed the day before)
This is one that many homeowners tackle themselves – the mulch is light and can usually be spread in a weekend. Helps keep the weeds at bay, holds moisture for the dry days and provides nice contrast to show off the plantings in your landscape beds. 1 Have your patio cleaned and sealed
If your patio is anywhere from a few years old to over 20, it could probably benefit from a cleaning and sealing. With a washing with paver-specific cleaners, we can take mossy, dark or worn pavers and freshen them up to look near new. A fresh coat of sealant will bring out the colors in your pavers, provide a wear layer to protect the pavers from foot traffic and UV rays, and can help firm up the sand between the paver seams.
